About the Montana Guest House:

Our Montana Guest House is a roomy, comfortable ranch-style home  located on the Dickinson Ranch in south central Montana.   The Dickinson Ranch is a traditional western ranch with pastures and hay fields bordering both sides of the East Rosebud River.  Most of the pastures and fields are leased to neighboring cattle ranchers.  The Dickinson Ranch is committed to preserving the natural beauty of the land and water providing sanctuary for local wildlife populations ... and for you!

Our Montana Guest House is in the small hamlet of Roscoe and beneath the majestic Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain Range.   We are near the city of Red Lodge and also in close proximity to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

The guest house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The home easily sleeps six and comes completely furnished with linens, a fully equipped kitchen,  and laundry room. There is a large wrap-around deck that provides private views of the river, the valley, and the stunning mountains.

Available for guest use are a propane gas grill, picnic table, badminton and croquet sets, soccer balls, footballs and frisbees.

WiFi is available and we offer a modest and varied collection of films on DVD and TV service with Wifi is available for streaming.

The ranch is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, bear, elk, beavers, raptors, bald eagles, wild turkeys, and many other species of birds.  Guests have, on occasion, been treated to visits by sandhill cranes and moose.

Come experience the privacy and tranquility of this special retreat and see for yourself why Montana is considered "the last best place on earth."
